Spirituality is a core value to me.
It is the seat of my power.
The spiritual world is of high value to me.
Thus,
I need to be surrounded by people who share the same value in some regard.
If I choose to fill my circle with people who do not share that value they will find themselves either intimidated by the energy that creates my core, or worse, attacking my belief systems for self validation.
I love a simple challenge or honest inquiry. However, expressions of resistance (when not approached objectively) breed hostility. This is restrictive thinking is not welcomed.
So to combat this
I prefer to know
almost out of the gate:
Where do you stand in a spiritual sense?

So I ask, what are your spiritual roots (whether you are currently practicing them or not)?
How do they help form who you are as a person?
