It brings me joy to offer an approach to tarot readings that empowers the receiver of the message to pull insights during their session. In every room, I bring the fullness of who I am. I'm serious about this self-empowerment work, and Hermit energy is how it started for me.
Let's explore the lessons from The Hermit.
The traditional imagery of the Hermit card shows a person standing alone at the mountain's peak while holding a lantern in one hand and a staff in the other. The mountain represents accomplishment, development, and success. Inside the lantern is a star with 6 points, also known as the Seal of Solomon, representing wisdom. The staff symbolized authority and power. I would be remiss not to state that this figure looks slightly weary, which alludes to the weight and gravity of the experience.
Going within
Withdrawal is knowing how to step back so you can see the full view of yourself and, eventually, others. One of my favorite theologians has a phrase that says, "if what you see is all you see, then you do not see all there is to be seen.
Introspection
We need to learn how to be alone so that we know how to be in community properly. It is in solitude we begin the search for Self without external distraction. We have to know our own pain points before they get triggered by another.
Those table-flipping, drink-throwing moments on The Real Housewives and Love and Hip Hop are almost always irritated by the external, a.k.a. OTHER PEOPLE revealed to us a tender spot that they had not yet addressed internally. Yes, Spiritualists dabble in the ratchet, too (even if it is for using it as a case study 😝).
During this contemplation, we discover our hidden strengths through righteous withdrawal. Owning Hermit energy teaches us how to go within without caving. I've created a series of spiritually channeled bracelets to assist us with appropriately utilizing this energy.
