(dis)connection is real

I've made wonderful connections

In the past few years.

I’ve built and rebuilt strong relationships

but it didn't happen

on social media

I have not been able to maintain

high quality friendships through social media.

And for a while I mourned that.

Then I realized that's not what that platform is for, at all.

I don't mean “my account”

I mean

these platforms as a whole.
